How to Activate A New iPhone

If it is the first time you buy and use an iPhone, you can learn how to activate a new iPhone from here. We will guide you how to do it step by step. Before we get started, please prepare your iPhone and SIM card well.

Step 1:

Get these things ready: SIM card and iPhone. And make sure that the SIM card is in your iPhone otherwise you cannot successfully activate it.


Step 2:

Then turn on your iPhone by holding the “Power” button on your iPhone.


Step 3:

After that, you will see an interface with “Hello” appears. You can slide your finger across the “Slide to set up” to unlock your iPhone.

Step 4:

Then you can select your desired language and location, and click on “Next Step” to continue.

Step 5:

During the activation process, your iPhone need to get access to a Wi-Fi Network or a cellular network for iPhone. And your Apple ID is required too. Choose one of the network option then click on “Next Step”.

Step 6:

After that, you can select the service options you like, for example you can select and turn on the “Location Service”.


Step 7:

Next, you will be asked to enter your Apple ID and password to connect your iPhone with App Store. If you don’t want to enter your Apple ID, you can click on “Skip This Step” link on the bottom of the screen.


Step 8:

Now you can choose to set up a passcode for your iPhone or you can just skip this part if you don’t need a passcode.


Step 9:

Then you need to set up some services including iCloud, Touch ID and so on.


Step 10:

When the process is completed, you will see the interface that shows you have activated your iPhone successfully.

Step 11:

You can choose to skip some setting parts like iCloud, passcode or Touch ID because they can be set up later in the future. But some important and necessary option cannot be skipped during the process.
